The 2005 vintage produced wines of classic beauty and structure. Flavor development came in the waning days of summer and consequently, the wines are very reminiscent of fall. The 2005 India Ink is a very deep red purple. It is dark smelling, meaty, and loaded with essence of black fruits.

The 2010 is feminine in its flavor profile, but has a structure to make you salivate. Since it is still in its infancy, I strongly encourage you to decant it and serve at just 10 degrees below ambient temperature. I left a partial glass uncovered and overnight on my desk and it was still going strong the next morning!
